The Cécile is the considered piece in the collection. A slim column cut from fine-handle European flax in a soft oyster off-white, with a mandarin neckline closed by five self-covered buttons and a long, narrow set-in sleeve. It reads architectural rather than romantic.

Designed for the shoulder seasons — the long sleeves make it work past summer, the lighter weight keeps it from reading winter. Wear it alone with a flat loafer for a clean line, layered over a fine merino tee for autumn, or under a long heavy coat for early winter.

The oyster off-white is one of the hardest colours to get right in linen. We dye it in small batches to a slightly warm tone — closer to ivory than to chalk — so it sits well against most skin tones and reads as considered rather than bridal.

Care: cool machine wash on a delicate cycle, line dry, low-iron only if needed. European flax linen ages well — expect it to soften further with each wash.
