The dusk taupe is a complex colour to dye into linen — cool but not grey, taupe but not muddy. We dye to a slightly green-leaning base then knock it back with a quiet grey wash, which gives the cloth its evening quality. Expect tonal variation across the bolt; this is the honest behaviour of natural fibre against a low-impact dye.
